Fundraising
The Palm Springs High School Band is largely self funded due to the diligent work of volunteers from the Palm Springs High School Band Boosters. Donations to the Band Boosters are Tax Deductible as the Band Booster Organization is a registered 501(c)3.
2023-24 is a very special year for the band- we are returning to our tradition of international travel for the first time in five years! It is our belief that access to travel is transformative for every student that has access to it. Research shows this as well- students who travel internationally experience a more global understanding, which benefits their development as adults.
It is our mission that no student who is able to embark on international travel is denied the opportunity because of lack of funds.
With that said, to get all 90 members of the 2023-24 Spirit of the Sands overseas will cost $240,000. Therefore, we are calling on our community to help!

Fundraising Programs
This GoFundMe is the best option for funding every member of the band equally. All contributions made here will be divided between everyone.
This fundraiser is best if there is a specific member of the band that you are interested in sponsoring to go.
This is for businesses or individuals who would like recognition in the program that will travel with us. The band will perform five concerts in Spain, and the size of these donations will sponsor principal chairs, soloists, or sections of musicians.
Our Christmas Tree and Wreath Fundraiser has closed for the 2023 Holiday Season. Please watch for this option beginning in September of 2024 or email us to be added to the notifiers.
